Iron Man 3 box office

Marvel Studios announced this morning that Iron Man 3 star Robert Downey, Jr., along with executives from Marvel Entertainment, LLC, will visit the New York Stock Exchange on April 30 and ring The Opening Bell to highlight the U.S. release of Marvel's latest film, due out in the U.S. on May 3. This isn't the first time the Marvel Studios folks have done this; last year, Tom Hiddleston and Clark Gregg rang the opening bell ahead of the release of Marvel's The Avengers. Iron Man 3 broke international box office records this weekend and is widely expected to open at $150 million or more in the U.S. this week. The film is the last on Robert Downey, Jr.'s current Marvel contract, and there's been a great deal of speculation as to whether he might return for more Iron Man and Avengers sequels.
