Zayn and Owens were friends and rivals in the independent scene, taking their rivalry to NXT when they were signed to the WWE. Owens turned on Zayn, which in turn aided Owens in gaining his first NXT Championship.
Zayn has been out with an injury for more than a year, but now it looks like the Zayniac is back and looking for some good ole payback.
