During last weekend's Walker Stalker Con, The Walking Dead executive producer, special effects make-up designer, and director Greg Nicotero revealed that Episode 15 of The Walking Dead will have the biggest tribute zombie cameo ever. As a nod to some classic past zombie films, Nicotero has occasionally included walkers which bear a striking resemblance to famous past zombies. Past tribute zombie cameos have included Dr. Tongue from Day of the Dead, flyboy zombie from Dawn of the Dead, plaid shirt zombie from Dawn of the Dead, out-of-the-ground zombie from Lucio Fulci's Zombie, and Jack from An American Werewolf in London. "I love doing it," said Nicotero. "We're thinking about all these cool zombies, and they'll be in there. And none of the producers…no one really knows…I just do it because it's fun. And I want the fans to be like, 'Look, look, that was that zombie from that movie.'" While most of the zombie cameos have been easily spotted, one flew under the radar. Nicotero revealed, "There's one that a l

ot of people missed. There's a great movie called Black Sabbath about this spooky witch that haunts this woman, and we recreated her as a character. And she's a zombie in Episode 5." Nicotero also revealed that the best is yet to come. "And in Episode 15, which airs next Sunday, there's probably the biggest tribute zombie we've done yet, but I don't want to tell you, because it's not until next week," added Nicotero.
