Coming off of a baseball slide attacking Chris Jericho on last night's edition of Raw, Neville was seen being assisted by WWE personnel back to the locker room after the match.
WWE has confirmed that Neville suffered a fracture on his left ankle. WWE's Dr. Chris Amann explained what the next step is for the former NXT Champion. "Initial X-rays reveal a fracture of the ankle," he said. "He will undergo further imaging today to determine the extent of the fracture and to determine if surgery will be necessary."
Neville reacted to the news by breaking down into tears as the injury will likely cause the up and comer to miss WrestleMania this year, which often means missing a large pay check. This is Neville's first serious injury since making it to the main WWE roster and been given a solid push since last year. It seems the momentum that the Man That Gravity Forgot just suddenly fell to Earth.
Hopefully he can get back on his feet on his feet, literally, before WrestleMania 32, but nothing is certain at this point.
