Despite being a devout Christian, American Idol winner Carrie Underwood has an affinity for embracing the darker elements of life. In addition to being a huge Stephen King fan, with his novel “Christine” inspiring the video for her music video for “Two Black Cadillacs,” Underwood is also a huge fan of the zombie TV show The Walking Dead. The singer is such a fan, in fact, that she celebrated her 34th birthday by throwing a huge party themed after her favorite show, even receiving a replica of Negan’s “Lucille” baseball bat as a present.

Underwood’s love for the zombie show is no secret, having publicly spoken on multiple occasions just how devoted she is. Her fandom goes deeper than just trying to keep up with the show every week, she even makes sure that she’s able to watch the AMC series if she’s stuck on a tour bus on Sunday nights. Considering reception isn’t always perfect on a moving vehicle, Underwood has sometimes requested her driver to move around to get the best signal.

The singer loves the show and wishes she could be on it, but considering her musical career, it’s tough to see how she could find the time for a role. At the very least, she’d be willing to be a zombie, even if that meant undergoing hours in the makeup chair to be a convincing undead pop singer.

In addition to the replica Lucille, Underwood’s party even featured a Walking Dead cake.

Would you like to see Underwood star on the series or do you think seeing one of the most successful musicians of all time wearing zombie makeup would be distracting and take you out of the show? Let us know in the comments!
