After a short hiatus, Criminal Minds will returning to its regular Wednesday night slot on April 26. It’s never a fun feeling when the show is off the air for a couple of weeks, but new photos from the upcoming episode prove that it will be worth the wait.

The new episode – titled ‘Unforgettable’ – will feature the return of Diana Reid, played by Jane Lynch. With Spencer still in prison, he’s been getting plenty of visits from those close to him. While this has mainly consisted of members of his team, it’s time for his mother to come say hello.
This is an interesting dynamic, as Spencer has often acted as Diana’s caretaker. Now, it will be her turn to try and care for the mental wellness of her son.
The group is also facing some unique challenges of their own, as many of these new photos depict friends laid up in hospital beds. The synopsis for this episode teases that a sickness could be on the way, so the BAU team better watch their backs.

‘Unforgettable’ — When several federal government employees, including a close friend of Walker’s, succumb to symptoms of a heart attack, the BAU investigates. Also, Reid anxiously awaits his trial date, on CRIMINAL MINDS, Wednesday, April 26.
After ‘Unforgettable’ there will only be two more episodes in Season 12. You’ll want to make sure you’re caught up before the finale on May 10, as Derek Morgan will be making his highly-anticipated return.
