In true Nashville fashion, there was a twist we didn’t see coming.
After surgery, Rayna and her daughter Daphne shared a sweet moment before Daphne’s choir showed up, singing “To Make You Feel My Love” to the patient in her hospital bed.
As the choir sang, Rayna’s vitals dropped quickly and she started crashing. Rayna’s kidneys shut down from the pelvic injury she received from the crash. Deacon, Daphne and Maddie sang to Rayna as she died.
In a heartbreaking final moment, Rayna told Deacon to stay strong for Maddie and Daphne.
What do you think, Nashville fans? Will you keep watching without our beloved Connie Britton?
