'Star Wars: The Last Jedi' "Raised To Fight" Preview Released

As the release date for the latest Star Wars movie nears closer, Lucasfilm is starting to churn out more previews of the film, offering hints and teases toward the film's mysterious plot.

The latest TV spot for Star Wars: The Last Jedi, called "Raised to Fight," spotlights the heroes of the Resistance in some epic moments, including some new dialogue from First Order turncoat Finn (John Boyega). Check it out in the video player above.

The clip starts out with Rey (Daisy Ridley) training with her staff, eventually switching it up to the lightsaber, as her voice over says "Something inside me has always been there, but now it's awake."

It cuts over to shots of Poe Dameron (Oscar Isaac) in his X-Wing and Kylo Ren (Adam Driver) in his TIE Fighter, showing off some sweet maneuvering skills from both pilots, while Supreme Leader Snoke's (Andy Serkis) voice over says the line we've heard a couple times in different spots: "Darkness rises, and light to meet it."

And finally, it finishes with some shots of Finn going up against Captain Phasma (Gwendoline Christie) in a true battle that's been set up since the beginning of Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

"I was raised to fight," Finn says. "For the first time, I have something to fight for."

The three main heroes of Star Wars: The Last Jedi all start off on separate journeys, it seems. While Rey trains with Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) on Ahch-To, Finn goes off on a secret mission to infiltrate the First Order, and Poe stays behind to defend the Resistance fleet agains the First Order.

With their the resources stretched thin, it seems impossible for the Resistance to overcome the might of the First Order, even after the destruction of the Starkiller Base.

Perhaps by the end of the movie, the three heroes will reunite and be able to turn the tide in this war. But for now, we're almost expecting an ending comparable to The Empire Strikes Back — and that does not bode well for those on Light Side of the Force.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi premieres in theaters December 15.
