If You Can't Stand The Heat...
Mas Amedda, the Grand Vizier of the Empire, gives a speech in Coruscant about the fall of the Jedi Order and their tyranny coming to an end.
"Never again will we fear the Jedi!" Amedda says while flanked by Royal Guards.
Clone Troopers bring out a collection of lightsabers from the fallen Jedi, gathered after the execution of Order 66. The Troopers toss the sabers into a furnace, and Amedda reveals that he himself has Yoda's lightsaber. Soule himself confirmed the fact on Twitter.
The Grand Vizier tosses Yoda's saver into the furnace and then sets it ablaze, proudly proclaiming "Thus tyranny ends." The burning sabers explode creating a large beam that engulfs the entire furnace, signifying the destruction of the Kyber crystals within.
And so the fate of Yoda's and many other Jedi's lightsabers is revealed.

More Star Wars
Disney's acquisition of Lucasfilm caused them to abandon the Extended Universe stories and establish the Story Group, a team to help all of the different creators stick to a new continuity in the Star Wars Universe. This leaves a lot of room to explore and create new stories without being burdened by decades of novels.
Though this knowledge isn't integral, these kinds of details in the new stories help enrich the Star Wars lore.
Many people still prefer the EU's older canon, but it would be near impossible for Lucasfilm to tell new stories without discarding most of it, lest they stick to adapting what's already been written.
Now they can incorporate some of the best moments, characters, and concepts as they see fit, such as Grand Admiral Thrawn.
Darth Vader #1 is in stores now.
