Despite mediocre reviews and a busy holiday weekend, X-Men: Apocalypse emerged as the top movie at the box office this weekend, crushing Alice Through the Looking Glass. The new X-Men movie earned over $80 million over the four day Memorial Day weekend, raising its cumulative global box office earnings to over $265 million.
