13 episodes down, only two to go until Fear The Walking Dead‘s second season is in the books. Lucky for us, those two episodes, titled Wrath and North, will air on the same night. That’s right, this week’s episode will be a two-hour long season finale.

Last week’s episode, Date Of Death, was fairly slow compared to the rest of the season. Chris leaving Travis was the most exciting scene in the episode, and even that seemed to drag on. All of that looks to be behind us, however, as this week looks like all stories will come to a head.
La Colonia is in major trouble as the Narcos gang is bearing down on them. They’re being deprived of the drugs keeping their people alive, and they have shown they will stop at nothing to keep them breathing. In the midst of this struggle, Alejandro and Luciana are having problems deciding who will lead their community.
At the hotel, Travis has reunited with Madison, but they have plenty of issues of their own. There is a large group of refugees living in the parking garage, which takes a huge toll on the food supply, and Brandon’s crew has just shown up at the gate. These are guys who take what they want, and that spells trouble for the group.
What could be in store for the season two finale of Fear The Walking Dead? The possibilities are endless, but flip through the slideshow for a look at our predictions!
Scenery Changes
The entire second half of this season has featured two main locales: the hotel and La Colonia.
This has veered a bit, mainly with Chris and Travis, but the majority of our time has been spent in one of those two locations. This week, Fear The Walking Dead is going to switch things up.
Each and every timeย The Walking Dead has had a big conflict in a major setting, they have set up a new one in the process. While the two shows have had major differences, this is one strategy that will follow suit.
This place may be in New Mexico, where Ofelia was heading, or outside of Tijuana, but it’s a safe bet that this episode will introduce a major setting from season three.
Daniel In The Walker’s Den
In the mid-season finale, it was inferred that Daniel Salazar had died. He set the farm on fire, and he wasn’t around when the group chose to leave.
If there’s one thing we’ve learned from The Walking Dead, however, it’s that no one is dead until you see them die. It’s basically a fact at this point.
In the most Morgan of ways, look for Daniel to return this week. Ofelia’s story has been revolving over her family’s past, so it would make sense that issues with her father aren’t totally resolved yet.
Daniel also brought a unique dynamic to the show. The shady past with the military always kept audiences guessing as to what he would do next. Strand and Nick have that kind of surprise element, but neither is quite as intense as Daniel.
Whether his death was meant to be permanent or not, it would be wise for Fear to bring Daniel back before the new season.
Separation Anxiety
Over the course of this season, we’ve seen how the members of this group deal with separation.
Nick left his family, searching for his own place in this world. That was a choice he decided to make for himself. It was something that he wanted, not something forced upon him.
This week, it will be the opposite.
Nick and Luciana have developed a relationship that appears to be growing deeper each week. She has been his rock at La Colonia, and he has been the devil’s advocate she has needed to have a fresh outlook on life. After La Colonia is attacked, their fairytale presses pause.
In order to build suspense for season three, one of these two will get taken by Narcos.
Farewell Chris (Again)
We’ve predicted the death of Chris multiple times, but he keeps eluding us. It was close last week, but he ended up riding off in a pick-up truck. Third time is a charm though, right?
Brandon and his crew are looking to overtake the hotel, and we know Chris is travelling with them. As a war breaks out between the factions, Chris will end up in someone’s crosshairs.
The mystery in this situation is how Chris’ life will ultimately end.
Will he continue on his reign of terror and force his father to kill him? Or, will he have a change of heart, realize his mistakes, and die trying to do right by Travis?
Either way, all signs point to Chris taking the axe this week. If the story arc doesn’t tell you enough, his role on Agents Of SHIELD should be a clue.
In The Name Of The Father…
In the last slide, we debated about how Chris would die. Here, we’re gonna go ahead and double down on “Death By Daddy”.
Chris has turned into a maniac this season, and it doesn’t seem like there is any way back to reality for the kid. Like Shane, on The Walking Dead, Chris has passed the point of no return.
Travis has struggled with protecting Chris over Madison and her kids since the beginning of the series. As Chris continues on his warpath, Travis will finally step up to the plate.
When faced with keeping Madison, a strong and capable leader of people, or Chris, his deranged teenage son, Travis will make the right call.
