You know what else was extremely entertaining?

Your tweets during the season finale.

Enough Twitter users participated in the #FearTWD trend during the episode that it became a top trending topic across the country.

These tweets were full of funny memes, hilarious gifs, and a ton of unique perspective on the events of the intense episode.

If you missed some of these tweets, have no fear. Get it? Nevermind.

Anyway, we’ve got you covered. Flip through to see our top tweets from the Fear The Walking Dead finale.

Wall? What Wall?

In Fear The Walking Dead, much of the series takes place in cities along the US-Mexico border. A lot of problems are brewing around the landmark in the series, and some think the same is true in real life.

Donald Trump has continued to mention his idea to build a wall on the Mexican border as a platform of his campaign. The idea has obviously been frowned upon by many, but Fear The Walking Dead seems to have recycled the idea for the zombie apocalypse.

When Ofelia’s truck breaks down, she begins walking along a wall that surrounds the border.

As @TonySolo points out, this may be the very wall the republican candidate was talking about.

Dammit, Dale

One of the best live Tweets, week in, and week out, belongs to the Hershel Greene parody account. We’ve featured his tweets multiple times, and the finale wouldn’t be complete without his wisdom.

As Ofelia’s radiator is having issues, she is attacked by multiple walkers. She isn’t the first survivor in The Walking Dead universe with car troubles, however.

Throughout much of The Walking Dead‘s first season, Dale had problems finding radiator hoses for his RV. It seemed as though every mission needed another hose, and folks died looking for those things.

Thanks to @HershelGreene1 for calling Dale out here, and for keeping us entertained each week.

You’re So Punny

Meme’s have been a great way to make our Best Tweets list this season, but we haven’t seen too many great puns yet. Lucky for us, @mohalyak came through in the clutch.

Much of Nick’s arc this season has revolved around his ability to produce and pedal narcotics. Many fans have compared his antics to Jesse from Breaking Bad, and the connections grow with every episode.

When Nick was trying to make a deal with the Narcos gang in the season finale, he looked a little more Pinkman than usual.

The tweet was a great play on the current pace of the episode, and the idea of mixing the two shows together.

Listen Up, Kids

Whoever said Fear The Walking Dead wasn’t for kids? This series packs in more great advice for young people than a multitude of after-school specials ever could.

When the kids in this series have rebelled from their parents, bad things have tended to happen. That’s not to say the parents have done the greatest job of raising them for this infected world. but that’s beside the point.

Nick, Chris, and Ofelia have all strayed from dear old Mom and Dad, and they have all wound up in trouble. Alicia stayed with Madison, and she has turned out alright.

See a theme here? @SciWriterDave does. Way to preach to the young ones, Dave.

Tweet Of The Week

There’s no denying that this episode of Fear The Walking Dead was the greatest of the entire series. Blending action, drama, and speechless plot twists, the combo episode of Wrath and North totally brought it.

You know what else is great? Hilarious gifs.

@lolselman on Twitter found a way to blend these two perfections into a phenomenal tweet featuring Ellie Kemper from The Office.

We were fist pumping through the entire season finale of Fear The Walking Dead, and we’re sure you were too.

Thanks for participating in our weekly tweet competitions throughout this season, and make sure to join us on October 23 as we continue the trend with the season premiere of The Walking Dead.
