For the past several seasons of The Walking Dead, fans have been begging to see a relationship between Daryl and Carol. The seeds were planted for a love between the characters in the early seasons, but it has sort of fizzled out since then.

When Carol tried to run away from Alexandria in the season six finale, it seemed like there was nothing left for the wannabe shippers. However, Daryl’s appearance in The Kingdom last week had the conversation alive again.
As soon as the guy asked Morgan about Carol, fans were ready for the romance to return.
So, will Daryl and Carol finally reunite?
When you really look into Carol’s character development, they kind of have to.
Carol is at the point now where one or two things can happen. She can either die because she’s unwilling to fight anymore, or she can return to her old ways and join the fight against Negan.
With as bad-ass of a story as Carol has had over the years, the chances of her just being killed off alone are very, very slim. She’s been too important to the story, and driven too much of the plot, to just leave like that.
This means she is likely going to come around. How will that happen? Well, throw in the one person who she wouldn’t hate to see and have him explain what’s really going on.
As soon as Carol finds out about the true horrors of Negan, she’ll be the first person to march on over to the Sanctuary.
As far as Daryl goes, what else is he going to do but try and find Carol? He knows she’s near The Kingdom somewhere, and he’s not the type to just sit around and do nothing. using those epic tracking skills – or some other type of dangerous technique – Daryl is going to find Carol.
It’s only a matter of time.
