Many would say it's the win that counts, and Game of Thrones and Fear The Walking Dead continue to do just that.

Granted, Game of Thrones did slip a little in the ratings. TV By The Numbers reported that the premier netted a 4.0 in the demo of adults 18 - 49 and 7.94 million viewers while the newest episode rated a 3.7 in the demo and brought in 7.29 million viewers. A drop is a drop, but it still by far outdistanced the competition.

AMC's Fear The Walking Dead maintained around the same 2.1 in the demo as last week, pulling in 4.8 million. Both shows still displayed good numbers, even against the NBA playoffs.
