WWE's New Era Gets New Announce Team On Raw And SmackDown

Looks like the WWE Draft isn't just shaking up the rosters for Raw and SmackDown. It was announced Wednesday morning that there will be new announce teams for the red and blue brands as Corey Graves joins Michael Cole and Byron Saxton for Monday Night Raw, while the SmackDown team will now consist of David Otunga, JBL, and Mauro Ranallo. Even WWE's smaller shows, WWE Main Event and WWE Superstars will receive a commentary team makeover as Tom Phillips will be the lead commentator on both, but will be joined by Graves on Superstars and Otunga for Main Event.

While there has not been a formal announcement concerning WWE Hall of Famer, Jerry Lawler, we should probably expect one in the near future.

Graves, initially a part of NXT, has worked steadily as a commentator for pay per view preshows and for a guy who was told that he would never wrestle again due to concussion issues, this couldn't have been better news.

Otunga, who stepped in for Lawler during this suspension, has been out of ring action for quite some time, but came through and proved himself a great commentator on one of their bigger programs.
