According to a new report in Journal de Montreal (translated via CJAD), X-Men Apocalypse will be filming in Montreal, Canada, which is the same place that X-Men: Days of Future Past filmed.

Fox will reportedly open production offices for X-Men: Apocalypse as early as next month, and set construction is set to begin starting in December of this year. However, actual filming with the cast and crew will not start until April of 2015. According to the report, X-Men: Days of Future Past generated an estimated $100 million for the Montreal economy.

Bryan Singer, who directed X-Men: Days of Future Past, is expected to return as director on X-Men: Apocalypse, which is set to be released on May 27, 2016.
