ABC and Marvel Studios have released a first look at the full cast photo for Season Two of Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., debuting on September 23 on ABC.

You can click on the image above for the full-sized version.

The image features, as the Marvel website notes, our heroes and last year's traitor, Grant Ward. Ward has been featured prominently in nearly every promotional image for the series, seemingly suggesting that his time with the team may not be totally over for one reason or another.

The image features, from left to right, B.J. Britt as Agent Antoine Triplett, Chloe Bennet as Agent Skye, Iain De Caestecker as Agent Leo Fitz, Ming-Na Wen as Agent Melinda May, Clark Gregg as Director Phil Coulson, Nick Blood as Lance Hunter, Henry Simmons as Alphonso "Mac" Mackenzie, Elizabeth Henstridge as Agent Jemma Simmons and Brett Dalton as Grant Ward.

Notable absences include J. August Richards, who played Deathlok in the first season, as well as Patton Oswalt, who also had a recurring role as a S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent and, depending on who you ask, his twin brother, clone or life model decoy. Lucy Lawless and Adrienne Palicki, both of whom signed on to recur this season, aren't here, either.

This is the first confirmation we've seen so far that Britt will return as the fan-favorite Triplett, whose grandfather was a member of the Howling Commandos. Both Hayley Atwell's Agent Peggy Carter and Neal McDonogh's Dum Dum Dugan will make a guest appearance in the season finale of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and recently, Atwell reported for filming on her midseason spinoff show, Marvel' Agent Carter. McDonogh appeared in Captain America: The First Avenger as Dugan, while Atwell appeared in First AvengerCaptain America: The Winter Soldier and an Agent Carter short film. It's not yet clear whether any other members of the Howling Commandos or any of the cast from Atwell's Marvel One Shot short film will appear in her series.
