Marvel Wants Chiwetel Ejiofor For Role in Doctor Strange

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Marvel Studios is courting British actor Chiwetel Ejiofor for a role in Doctor Strange. The film is being directed by Scott Derrickson ("Deliver Us from Evil") and will star Ejiofor's 12 Years A Slave co-star Benedict Cumberbatch in the title role.

Conversation with Ejiofor are said to be in the early stages. Who will he play? Sources for The Hollywood Reporter can't seem to agree on that. Some say he is up for the main villain role, which is rumored to be Stephen Strange's arch-nemesis Baron Mordo, while other sources say that isn't the case at all.

Perhaps, he could play Strange's monk servant Wong? A source for The Wrap thinks Ejiofor is up for the role of the semi-immortal mystic known as the Ancient One. Though, that is just speculation on their part. Which role do you think Marvel wants him for?
