The other day, new broke that director Michelle MacLaren had left the Wonder Woman movie that will star Gal Gadot. Lynda Carter, who played Wonder Woman/Diana Prince on the small screen from 1975 to 1979, weighs in with her thoughts on what the film should be and what type of involvement she'd like to have with it.

"I would love to be involved in a creative position of it," Carter told EW Radio. "I know so much about what people want from it, I think, that just being as a consultant on a movie. I think it needs a woman."

Carter then says that she would be open to a role in the film as long as it is not a just a mere walk-on cameo. She wants a meaty role, like playing Wonder Woman's mother.

You can listen to Lynda's comments in the audio clip below.

We'll get our first look at Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, which arrives in theaters March 25, 2016 and then the Wonder Woman solo film will be released June 23, 2017.
