Despite director Robert Zemeckis saying there is basically no chance, there's been a lot of talk about a new Back to the Future movie around the Internet lately. Well it seems the cost of making one may end up being pretty high, at least if anyone expects star Michael J. Fox to get back in the series' iconic DeLorean.

"The money it would take to get me back into the DeLorean again is a LOT," Fox said at the Back to the Future 30th anniversary reunion at the London Film and Comic-Con on Sunday (via RadioTimes). Turns out Fox had a difficult time handling the vehicle during the film's production.

"I wish I had a video, a gag reel of how many times I was hit by that freakin' door, the DeLorean door," Fox said. "Take after take, it would go, WHACK!

"It was the worst thing to drive," he continued. "It had two gears and I slammed the door, and my hand would smash into the flux capacitor. My hand would be bleeding, my head would be bleeding… and I had to clean it off to get to the Family Ties set."

Sorry fans, but it looks like that's just one more reason you won't be getting another Back to the Future movie. You'll just have to content yourself with the new Back to the Future comic book coming from IDW Publishing later this year.
