When a hero takes off their mask, you see their true colors.

Andrew Garfield, who's Spider-Man run was cut short by a deal between Sony and Marvel, is being a good sport about giving up web-slinging. "It's a mixed bag and it's a blessing," Garfield told E. "I got to do it twice. I got to meet incredible artists. I got to have a wild experience and now I get to let it go, which is actually a really lovely thing."

Tom Holland will be taking over the role starting in Captain America: Civil War this May, which Garfield recently commented on, but overall, "I'm very kind of at peace with it," he says. Goodbyes are never easy, but Garfield seems to be taking his farewell with Peter Parker after two goes in the Amazing franchise fairly well.

Garfield can next be seen in 99 Homes, opposite Man of Steel's Michael Shannon, when it hits theaters September 14, 2015. Spider-Man, on the other hand, can be seen in rebooted form when Captain America: Civil War released May 6, 2016.
