First Look At Matt Damon On New Bourne Movie Set

Matt Damon is back as the titular Jason Bourne in the new Bourne movie, the fifth in the series and fourth featuring the actor as the star. Producer Frank Marshall is fueling excitement for the return, after a movie off (starring Jeremy Renner), with a picture tweeted from the first day of principal photography on set.

Damon is back in fighting shape, and looks like that's exactly what he's doing in this first scene, with hands wrapped a la a street fighter. Dirty (and ripped), we'll likely see just where Bourne has been all this time, making that a story element for the new film.

The newest Bourne is not yet scheduled, though it is due to hit theaters in 2016, starring Matt Damon and Alicia Vikander and directed by Paul Greengrass.
