Rachel McAdams Confirmed For Doctor Strange

Rachel McAdams has confirmed that she will appear in Doctor Strange.

McAdams has been rumored to play the female lead of the film, opposite Benedict Cumberbatch’s Stephen Strange, and confirmed it to Jeff Sneider of The Wrap while at the Toronto International Film Festival.

While we now know that McAdams will play the female lead, we still do not know who the female lead character is. Strange’s longtime love interest Clea seems like easy answer, but Marvel hasn’t commented.

Check out when Doctor Strange and other movies are coming out in ComicBook.com's Movie Release Schedule.

Slightly more complicated than "rumoured". She was in talks at the time and quite rightly wasn't willing to confirm anything until she definitely had the role.

Excellent choice. I sincerely hope she's not just the love interest. It's a Marvel movie - let her kick someone's ass.

  1. PLEASE DONT LET HER BE CLEA. UGH THIS CHICK CANT ACT HER WAY OUT OF A WET PAPER BAG. THE LIVING PERSONIFICATION OF BORING!

I don't really like her. I hope they won't make her play Clea.
