Ant-Man Rides An Arrow In New Captain America: Civil War Promo Art

The latest promo art for Marvel's Captain America: Civil War features a recreation of the memorable comic book cover for The Avengers #223, which was published in September of 1982.

The cover, as well as the promo art, features Ant-Man (Scott Lang) in his shrunken form on top of an arrow that Hawkeye has cocked and ready to fire. There's also promotional artwork of Ant-Man riding a flying ant and Natasha Romanoff wielding her electroshock weapons, Black Widow's Bite.

Check out the promotional artwork (via Hablemos de Marvel) below.

Marvel’s Captain America: Civil War finds Steve Rogers leading the newly formed team of Avengers in their continued efforts to safeguard humanity. But after another incident involving the Avengers results in collateral damage, political pressure mounts to install a system of accountability, headed by a governing body to oversee and direct the team. The new status quo fractures the Avengers, resulting in two camps—one led by Steve Rogers and his desire for the Avengers to remain free to defend humanity without government interference, and the other following Tony Stark’s surprising decision to support government oversight and accountability. Get ready to pick a side and join the nonstop action playing out on two fronts when Marvel’s Captain America: Civil War opens in U.S. theaters on May.

Captain America: Civil War will arrive in theaters on May 6, 2016.

  1. i really hope that Ant-Man rides an arrow in Civil War. It will be amazing to see!! Paul Rudd is amazing as Scott.

  2. Yes! So glad this is happening!

  3. lol r u kidding me? that looks so cheesy. boy, marvel makes movies for little kids.

  4. Indeed, theredmeadow. What this childlike artwork really needs is a flatchested, sternfaced bitch with a golden lasso mean-mugging a frowning man of steel through a sepia filter. You know, adult shit.

Awesome, one thing nagging me is why Black Widow gotta go all Tron like all of a sudden with the Neon stuff, weird?
