A Pokemon cafe is coming to Singapore. PARCO, a Japanese retailer, announced it would be opening a Pokemon cafe in Singapore at Bugis Junction, a mall/hotel/office development. The Pokemon cafe will serve Pokemon-themed food and sell limited edition Pokemon merchandise.

PARCO stated the Singapore Pokemon cafe will be a reproduction of a cafe opened in Tokyo last year to help promote the release of Pokemon Alpha Sapphire and Pokemon Omega Ruby. The Tokyo cafe's menu included lattes with Pikachu's face drawn into the foam, Pikachu shaped rice omelettes and even Poke Ball fried potatoes. Patrons also could get their photo taken with Cosplay Pikachu, a character featured in Pokemon Alpha Sapphire and Pokemon Omega Ruby. While PARCO only kept the Pokemon cafe open for a few months, reports indicated the restaurant was very popular, with fans waiting in line for over two hours just to get in the store.

Singapore's Pokemon cafe will be open from May 27 to July 31st. It's unknown if PARCO plans to move the cafe to a third location, or plans to open another cafe timed with the release of Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon.
