Following an exclusive report by Deadline, Abraham Attah has reportedly joined the cast of Spider-Man: Homecoming.

Attah, age 15, is best-known for his work on Cary Fukunaga's Beasts of No Nation. Born in Ghana, the actor was discovered as he played soccer with friends and went on to make his impressive on-screen debut with powerhouse actor, Idris Elba, who starred as a co-lead in Beasts of No Nation.

With news that Attah has joined Spider-Man: Homecoming's cast, the title will stand as the first big-budget picture the actor has starred in since his debut last year.

Attah received plenty of critical acclaim for his portrayal of a child soldier Abu in Beasts of No Nation, and many fans rallied behind the actor after he was surprisingly snubbed for an Academy Award nomination for his work. However, the actor did receive the Best Lead Actor Award from Independent Spirits while receiving nominations from the Critic's Choice Awards and SAGs.

While there are no details regarding Attah's possible role in Spider-Man: Homecoming, the actor is joining a long list of talent who've already signed onto the film. Currently, the film will star Tom Holland as Peter Parker/Spider-Man following his cameo in Captain America: Civil War. Marisa Tomei will reprise her role as Aunt May from the film as well while others such as Donald Glover, Martin Starr, Zendaya, Michael Keaton, and Tony Revolori are starring amongst others.

Slated for release on July 7th 2017, Spider-Man: Homecoming started shooting earlier this week in Atlanta, GA.
