With all of the hubbub about Pokemon GO today, another video game decided to show off their own version of the game. Square Enix Montreal, the maker of games like Lara Croft, Hitman, and Deus Ex, debuted their version of Pokemon GO, which appears to be made with the Hitman Engine.

The video shows an Ash figurine approaching and capturing a Pikachu, as a Snorlax sits in the background. Square Enix's accompanying tweet also seems to poke fun at Pokemon GO's lack of availability. While millions of fans spent their day refreshing the Google Play and Apple App Store waiting for Pokemon GO's release, Nintendo and Niantic Labs only released the game in Australia and New Zealand.

Like Square Enix Montreal, we're still patiently waiting for Pokemon GO's release, which should happen sometime this month. Stay tuned to ComicBook.com for breaking Pokemon GO news as it happens.
