These days, nothing can be popular for long before someone turns it sexual. Porn parodies are funny to laugh at, but the principal behind the X-rated films is universal. If people are drawn to a story or character, they may be persuaded to bring that piece of pop culture into the bedroom. Just, don't feel guilty if any of your fetishes concern One Piece. Creator Eiichiro Oda is totally cool with his character being put into ero-approved stories.

Over on Reddit, Oda's comments about fan-made hentai regarding One Piece stirred up a conversation amongst fans. In one of the artist's One Piece volumes, Oda did a written Q&A where he talked about Nami's popularity. The heroine is one of the story's primary female leads, and her growing bust has come to attract a fandom of its own.

"I feel that her [Nami's] popularity has increased lately. Is it because she didn't appear much? For me, seeing a character through perverted eyes is what probably makes me guilty," Oda admitted.

Continuing, Oda then gave fans the all-clear to enjoy Nami and other sexy One Piecestars however they'd like.

"What I can say about all characters is that I don't intended to do it at all. My master once told me the "manga world" is a product. Interfering with those who make use of it isn't what a pro would do. I feel the same. Please interpret freely. Create delusional ideas. Simply enjoy how you like it. I'm happy by the people alone who read my work."

So, if you have a thing for Sanji, there is no need to feel bad. The culinary pirate would be flattered to hear the lewd preference, and Oda does not care one bit.
