Bruce Campbell has been no stranger to the ‘Spider-Man’ film trilogy. He’s had small parts in each of the films–a ring announcer, a theater usher, and a restaurant host. For the 4th installment of the franchise, however, Campbell might have a much larger role.
Accesshollywood is reporting that Campbell has a ‘major part’ in the upcoming film. Campbell also told the site that the film is scheduled to begin filming January 2010 (new news as well). The film is due to hit theaters in May 2011.
The villains for “Spider-Man 4″ haven’t been announced, but there is some speculation that Mysterio could be the main bad guy. Would Campbell be the guy for that role? We’ll find out soon.
