Bleeding Cool

is reporting that IDW Publishing and Darwyn Cooke's fan-favorite series of Parker original graphic novels (based on the books by Richard Stark) have expanded from four volumes to five. The publisher released a limited, slipcased edition of its Parker: Martini Edition hardcover this weekend at the Long Beach Comic & Horror Con, collecting Parker: The Hunter and Parker: The Outfit, the first two of Cooke's graphic novels for the publisher. It's being reported that an announcement expanding the franchise took place at that convention. Cooke, an Eisner and Shuster Award winner for his work with DC who is also rumored to be working on a follow-up to Alan Moore's beloved Watchmen, is presently working on a third Parker graphic novel, titled The Score. No relation to the Edward Norton/Robert DeNiro film of the same name, I'm certain. Following The Score will be Slayground. If a title for the fifth book has been announced yet, it hasn't been reported online.
