Marvel Comics has released a five-page preview of May 23′s Secret Avengers #27, an Avengers Vs. X-Men tie-in issue. Written by Rick Remender and featuring art by Renato Guedes, Captain Marvel (Mar-Vell) returns from the grave lead his people–but like Iron Fist, it seems as though his powers and those of the Phoenix are somehow bound together.
Facing off against the spacebound Avengers who already had their hands full with the Phoenix Force, is Captain Marvel’s return a blessing, or a curse? And can it even last, given that we know there will be another Captain Marvel soon?
