Kelly Sue DeConnick to Become the First Female Ongoing Avengers Writer?

A teaser just released from Marvel Comics appears to indicate that Kelly Sue DeConnick and artist Stefano Caselli will take over one of the ongoing Avengers titles when Brian Michael Bendis leaves them in November, but not as part of the Marvel NOW! initative. While the teaser could be for something else (say an original graphic novel or miniseries), the teaser itself is intriguing; would this make DeConnick the first female writer to be the ongoing writer of Marvel's most esteemed super-team? DeConnick just started a run on Captain Marvel for the publisher, a title that has received a broad base of critical acclaim. ComicBook.com called it a "masterful," "soaring debut."
