In a new set video streaming at Flash News (via CBM), Chris Hemsworth’s Thor can be seen throwing down with Chris Eccleston’s Malekith The Accursed, also known as the film’s principal antagonist, which of course begs the question: is this part of the movie’s big, climactic battle?
Probably not–by the look of the photos presented, Thor is having a pretty easy go of the fight for a while before the tide turns in favor of Malekith. That feels more like an early fight that sets the stage for their mutual disdain than anything we’re likely to see in the third act.
Check out the video below, which doesn’t show much in the way of the actual action but is nevertheless a pretty high-quality video of a battle between Thor and Malekith. There’s still photos below that, which have a bit more going on.
