The Big Bang Theory has been scoring record ratings during its sixth season, while also stirring up a little bit of controversy. It's not surprising that the success of the show might lead others to try to create spinoffs or something similar. Now, comes word that Transformer 4's Mark Wahlberg is planning to produce a reality TV show based on The Big Bang Theory. According to Boston.com, Mark Wahlberg is already working on three reality shows, and he's looking into doing a fourth one with local Boston college kids. The series would be set at one of Boston's institutions of higher learning and would revolve around a group of student nerds and possible some professors as well. It would be the real life version of The Big Bang Theory, which focuses on two physicists employed at California Institute of Technology and their friends. The inspiration for Mark Wahlberg's show is reportedly George Zaidan , who is an MIT graduate who writes and hosts a Vlog about current scientific research called Pocket Science.
