Guardians of the Galaxy rumors

Least favorite might be a stretch--but certainly there aren't many people at Marvel Studios who have a lot of love for El Mayimbe. While they've had a misstep here or there, few "news and rumor" sites have a better track record at evading the notorious "Marvel snipers" than Latino Review, where they've broken any number of movie stories from the House of Ideas, arguably the most remarkable of all being the studio's Comic Con International plans in 2012. So the rest of the entertainment press sits up and takes notice when El Mayimbe tweets, "MARVEL FANBOYS! Scored a bunch of HOT scoop leads. PHASE 2 & 3 GOODNESS! Sorting through them. Reports to come. Time to further investigate." Apparently Marvel, who have previously sent Latino Review legal papers demanding information on the site's sources, take notice as well; fifteen minutes later, the writer followed up his tweet with a second: "It's also come to my attention that the Marvel secrecy police have issued a fatwa on me. Come at bro! #unstoppable," and a third, "Been thinking of video blogging my scoops. I would drop my Marvel video scoops right outside their offices in NYC. That would piss em off." With this week's revelation that Marvel's Phase Three films will kick off with Ant-Man and Doctor Strange, what could Latino Review be looking at? Casting for Guardians of the Galaxy seems both the most likely and the least exciting prospect, given the omnipresent casting rumors about the film. A prospective, unannounced Phase Three film is probably the next most likely; they did, after all, report that Black Panther would be the next solo, non-sequel superhero film announced by Marvel. That, of course, didn't happen, with both Ant-Man and Doctor Strange beating it to market. What's coming this week? We'll have to wait and see...!
