Ninja Turtles Movie Delayed

The Ninja Turtles movie featuring the group formerly known as the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles just without mutations and without teenagers has been delayed. However, it's not a long delay. Deadline is reporting that Paramount has pushed back Ninja Turtles to June 6, 2014, which is three weeks later than it's initial May 16, 2014 release date. This will actually mark the second time that the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles reboot has been delayed as it was originally scheduled to be released in December 2013. No explanation was given for the release date change, but if we had to speculate, we would guess the move was made to avoid going up against Godzilla, which was also scheduled for a May 16, 2014 release date. For right now, Ninja Turtles has the June 6 release date all to itself. Michael Bay is producing Ninja Turtles, while Jonathan Liebesman is directing. Megan Fox will be playing April O'Neil.
