Academy Award and Razzie winner Halle Berry is still on director Bryan Singer's radar for X-Men: Days of Future Past, but the filmmaker isn't certain whether they'll actually be able to work out a deal to bring her back for the film. Asked by E! Online about the possibility of Mystique and Storm returning in the form of Rebecca Romijn and Halle Berry, the director said, "It depends on how it works out. I loved working with Halle, so all I can say is we'll see what happens." "How it works out" doesn't exactly sound promising, given the budgetary and scheduling constraints that bringing aboard someone like Halle Berry would probably create, but the real question is whether, if Berry can't return, Storm is just left out of the film or whether they would attempt to recast. He didn't address Romijn at all, which sounds like a solid no  on the model/actress appearing--especially since her character is a shape-shifter, and there's nothing to stop both "versions" of Mystique being played by Academy Award winner Jennifer Lawrence, who played the character in X-Men: First Class.
