Chambers will play Barry Allen (the Flash), the superhero around whom the film centers and who is, to a certain extent, responsible for shaping the world of Flashpoint. McKidd stars as the Batman of the Flashpoint Universe, while Kevin Conroy will return as Bruce Wayne in the sections set in the main DC Universe that reportedly bookend the film.
Joining the film's cast will be Sam Daly, a recurring bit player on The Office and star of films like George Lucas's Red Tails. His father, Tim Daly, is one of the two key voice actors who have played Superman a number of times in the years since the "DC Animated Universe" began to take shape in the early '90s. The pair host an online chat/comedy series, The Daly Show, an episode of which you can see below, featuring a guest appearance by their Flashpoint co-star Nathan Fillion.
According to TV Guide, the cast also includes Michael B. Jordan as Cyborg, Cary Elwes as Aquaman, Vanessa Marshall as Wonder Woman, Ron Perlman as Deathstroke and Danny Huston as General Sam Lane. Dana Delany and Nathan Fillion reprise their roles as Lois Lane and Green Lantern, respectively. There are more character to be announced, although it's unclear how much of the broader Flashpoint story will appear in the film.
The film is set to be released on July 30 in Blu-ray, DVD, On Demand and digital download.
