Iron Man 3 Said to Tease Avengers 2

While there's been a lot of speculation in the comics community as to whether Iron Man 3's post-credits sequence would tease Guardians of the Galaxy, Ant-Man, Dr. Strange or something else entirely, according to Yahoo! Movies India, the film actually gives fans a glimpse at the studio's plans for The Avengers 2. But take this one with a huge grain of salt. Read on, and we'll explain. "It's true that the teaser of Avengers 2 is being attached to Iron Man 3. It is a double attraction for the fans of superhero films because they will get to see what Avengers 2 has in store along with the action-packed Iron Man 3," Yahoo! quotes a source as saying. "Iron Man 3 is releasing in India one week before its release in the US, so Indian fans will be the first to watch the Avengers 2 teaser." The language is imprecise and there's no clear indication as to who their source is, what the connection might be to Avengers 2 or even what characters are involved, so it's likely that this item is related to a pre-existing rumor that a post-credits sequence would include Tony Stark talking with a dozing Bruce Banner. Even beyond that teaser, which is widely believed to be a post-credits sequence a la the shawarma sequence after The Avengers and not the tantalizing mid-credits sequence that Marvel movies traditionally include, it could be reasonable to conclude that teasers including any existing Marvel character (such as Captain America or Thor, whose sequels are already filming or filmed) could reasonably be understood as "Avengers" spoilers by someone less versed in the comics. An unknown character like Ant-Man or Man-Thing being recruited by Fury in the way Tony Stark was at the end of Iron Man could have similar results.
