Even mutant superheroes sometimes find themselves in dangerous situations where they have to be rescued. The X-Men Days Of Future Past cast escaped a hotel fire this weekend in Montreal, Canada, thanks to the speedy response of the Montreal Fire Brigade. Several X-Men cast members provided updates about the incident via Twitter. After a long day of filming on May 4, Booboo Stewart tweeted, "Shot till 4am now hotel has a fire so in the street- hall was filled with smoke – scary." Booboo also added, "5 fire trucks, standing with Adan and Patrick Stewart outside wishing we had brought out stuff out." Patrick Stewart tweeted, "Nothing like an early start to the weekend - though not when your hotel is on fire." Stewart also tweeted the photo above with the message, "All mutant super heroes safe. Thank you Montreal Fire Brigade." Daniel Cudmore tweeted, "Nothin like a fire in ur hotel after 3h of sleep, Fire department 1 fire 0." When asked if the fire was real, Adan Canto tweeted, "Real as can be. #stopdropandroll and the whole thing. But all is well!" X-Men Days Of Future Past is scheduled to be released in movie theaters on July 18, 2014.
