Days of Future Past: First Look at James McAvoy As Professor X

Bryan Singer earlier today tweeted the first look at James McAvoy as Professor Charles Xavier in the forthcoming X-sequel, X-Men: Days of Future Past. Hey, they did warn you this movie was going to take place in the '70s. Xavier isn't the clean-cut kid we've come to expect from previous iterations here, although whether that's how he'll look onscreen or it's just a wardrobe and chair fitting for McAvoy won't be clear until we start seeing footage coming back. Singer acknowledged as much, adding a "Serpico" hashtag to the image, a reference to the classic 1973 crime drama in which Al Pacino wore a beard.
