Comic Book Men

AMC announced their 2014 schedule today, and there's a little bit of good news and bad news. Talking Dead joined The Walking Dead in officially being renewed for a fifth season, which will start up in October 2014. However, there was no announcement regarding if Comic Book Men would be renewed or not for a fourth season. AMC did reveal that Comic Book Men would be returning for the second half of its third season in February, so the show has not been canceled. Comic Book Men airs on Sunday nights at midnight eastern time, following The Walking Dead, Talking Dead, and an encore of The Walking Dead. Despite the late hour at which the show airs, AMC noted that Comic Book Men has been consistently delivering one million viewers. AMC did announce renewals for several other unscripted TV shows. Game of Arms, which is a look inside the raw and highly competitive world of American arm wrestling, will premiere on Tuesday, February 25 at 10PM. Small Town Security will return for third season in May, and Freakshow will return for a second season in the same month. Since Comic Book Men doesn't traditionally premiere until October, there is still hope that AMC might still yet renew the show for a fourth season. However, given the lack of an official renewal announcement, fans of the show should probably rally around getting the word out about the remaining episodes of Season 3 if they want to see the show return.
