director Bryan Singer took to Twitter earlier today to share a first image from Battle Creek, the new CBS pilot from Breaking Bad's Vince Gilligan...and once he hit the Web, fans and press took the opportunity to grill him on Marvel's merry mutants. In the span of just a couple of tweets, Singer revealed that he's currently pulling "double duty" on Battle Creek and Days of Future Past, still wrapping post-production on the film due out in May while shooting the pilot. In the series, which stars Josh Duhamel, Aubrey Dollar and Omar J. Dorsey, two detectives with different views on the world team up and using cynicism, guile and deception, they clean up the streets of Battle Creek. Asked about this weekend's rumors that Halle Berry's role in X-Men had been substantially cut, Singer issued a one-word denial, telling Digital Spy that the answer was no.
