S.H.I.E.L.D. #1 Comic

At 2014 San Diego Comic-Con International, Marvel Comic announced a new comic called S.H.I.E.L.D., which will include characters from ABC's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. TV series.

In the S.H.I.E.L.D. comic, Special Agent Phil Coulson will bring together the best and the brightest, the gifted and the elite, normal people and superhumans from across the Marvel Universe on an as-needed basis to confront, combat and curtail dangers beyond the scope of any conventional peace-keeping force.

In an interview with Marvel.com, Mark Waid said, "Oh, we're definitely bringing the gang in, from May to Fitz and Simmons and beyond. They're the Marvel Universe "versions" of these characters, which gives us license to really delve into them in ways that are tough with limited screen time each week."

S.H.I.E.L.D. will be written by Mark Waid and will feature a rotating crew of top Marvel artists, including Carlos Pacheco, Alan Davis and Chris Sprouse.
