We've already excited you with news about Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite's potential new Infinity Stones, as well as some new gameplay footage that should get you thrilled about the new Story Mode. But now there's even bigger news, especially if you're headed to Las Vegas this week for the annual EVO tournament.

Marvel Games has confirmed on its Twitter account today that it will be bringing Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite to the tournament for all to play over the course of the weekend. In addition, it'll be multiplayer enabled, so you'll be able to take on others and try out the various characters available in the build!

"Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite will be at #EVO2017 this weekend!" the company tweeted. "We'll have the latest VERSUS build ready for you to try – get hyped!"

There's no word yet if the company will announce any new fighters for the game during the weekend tournament, since San Diego Comic-Con is coming up the following weekend, and Capcom expects to have major presence at the event with a number of panels. But, at the very least, you'll be able to try out the latest build of Infinite and kick a few butts along the way!

Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite marks the latest addition to the tournament's show floor, as Bandai Namco and Square Enix previously announced that it would be at the tournament, with the former showcasing Dragon Ball FighterZ (which is likely to steal the show again) and the latter bringing Dissidia: Final Fantasy for all to try out. Other companies will be attendance as well, but, as expected, the fighting action, across a number of titles including Tekken 7 and Injustice 2, should be taking up a lot of attention.

There's no word yet if Capcom will bring Infinite to San Diego Comic-Con in playable form, but it's attended the show in the past, so we'd be surprised if it didn't make some sort of appearance, particularly at the Marvel booth. We'll see what the companies have planned over the next week.

EVO takes place from July 14th through the 16th, and, like always, you'll be able to see the matches online!

Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite releases on September 19th for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
