Wes Anderson (“The Grand Budapest Hotel”) is one of those directors that has made a living off of style-over-substance. Not to say his films don’t have substance, but it seems much more important for them to have his signature look, feel and sound.

Could you imagine if Anderson ever directed a comic book movie? Well, Patrick (H) Willems did, and he has put together an amazing fan film imagining Anderson’s centered composition, bright colors and eclectic soundtrack meshing with the X-Men universe.
It’s very entertaining. Although, I doubt if 20th Century Fox will seek out Wes Anderson whenever Bryan Singer walks away from X-Men.
The cast includes: James Zebooker as Iceman, Scott Thomas as Cyclops, Chloe Holgate as Jean Grey, Matt Torpey as Beast, Jacob Torpey as Angel, Zac MacKrell as Wolverine, Nate Miller as Magneto, Kendra Pettis as Storm and Chad Ruhle as the voice of Professor X.
