"Flash of Two Worlds" picks up right where the previous episode left off, and expands the universe of the show much further than ever before with an exciting and intense episode.

The stranger who made his way into S.T.A.R. Labs claims to be from a parallel world. As the gang struggles with this new information, they also have to fight a meta-human called Sand Demon. Can they trust this man to help them? Meanwhile, Joe must contend with an overzealous police officer who wants to help him catch meta-humans.

Victor Garber is an absolute standout this week. While Firestorm has fought with Team Flash before, Stein has had to establish himself in new ways with the team now that Ronnie is gone. His intelligence is helpful, but his enthusiasm and heart make him valuable.

Also worth noting is Carlos Valdes, who continues to make Cisco the one to watch, whether he's joking or serious. Jesse L. Martin, who demonstrates Joe's struggles at work quite smoothly. And newcomer Shantal VanSanten, who makes Patty charming and adorable. In the wrong hands, the character could come across as annoying, but Van Santen's hands are certainly the right ones.

The star of the episode though is undoubtedly Teddy Sears as Jay Garrick. Jay is in a strange place surrounded by strangers, trying to still be a hero. Sears performance is strong yet subtle, he is clearly a man struggling, but he does not let it sway him from the task at hand. Sears fits in with the rest of the cast as seamlessly as if he has always been there, and hopefully he'll be around for a long time to come.

"Flash of Two Worlds" succeeds where many shows fail, it introduces a TON of new information in ways that are interesting and entertaining. As the mythology of the show continues to expand, let's hope there are more episodes like this one leading the way.

"Zombie Bro" is a pretty hilarious episode, which answers a question not many people would think to ask. What would happen if Liv ate the brains of someone with the same personality as Dick Casablancas?

The latest murder victim whose brains Liv consumes was a party animal frat boy. There's plenty of suspects, if Liv can only peel herself away from the keg long enough to figure out which one committed the murder. Meanwhile, Ravi brings Major into his work on making the cure, with surprising results. And Blaine continues moving forward on his newest plan.

Robert Buckley is a stand out this week. Major's struggle to deal with his knowledge about zombies, his problems with Liv, and his new job for Max Rager is compelling. He's so much more than the good-hearted (and good looking) ex-fiancee he was at the start of season one.

Also shining this week: guest star Robert Knepper, who plays someone from Blaine's sordid past. David Andres, who continues to make Blaine so much more than just another bad guy. And Rahul Kohli, who shows us a brand new side to Ravi.

But let's be honest, the reason we watch this show is to see what an amazing job Rose McIver continues to do week after week as Liv Moore, and the many people she eats. McIver is spot on as a devil may care frat boy. Liv actually enjoys having a break from her normal stress, and it shows. Plus, no one has ever looked better in a dress made from police tape!

"Zombie Bro" has a good balance of comedy and drama, as the story continues to move forward. Season 2 is not wasting any time getting to the current arc, with plenty of fun along the way.
