Ray Parker Jr.’s original Ghostbusters theme debuted with the original Ghostbusters movie in 1984. The song hit the No. 1 spot on Billboard’s Hot 100 list and was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Original Song (and ultimately lost to Stevie Wonder’s “I Just Called to Say I Love You” from The Woman In Red). Parker’s hit will also be included as part of the new film’s soundtrack, which also features music by Elle King, G-Eazy, Jeremih, 5 Seconds of Summer, Pentatonix, Walk the Moon, Wolf Alice, and others.
The Ghostbusters soundtrack is now available for pre-order.
