After debuting the Rogue One: A Star Wars Story toy line in the “Go Rogue” stop-motion animated shorts, Disney and Lucasfilm have released a first look at the many different Jyn Erso toys that will be part of the line, each based on the likeness of star Felicity Jones.

Star Wars fans may remember the outcry of “Where’s Rey?” when the first wave of Star Wars: The Force Awakens toys arrived and featured very little of Daisy Ridley’s female lead. Lucasfilm explained this was to obscure potential plot reveals, and rectified the problem in the second wave of The Force Awakens toys.
Lucasfilm and their merchandising partners are getting out ahead of that problem with Rogue One. There are plenty of Jyn Erso toys to choose from, from the LEGO Minifigure version to the 20-inch JAKKS Pacific Big-Fig. There’s also the Black Series action figure, a favorite of adult collectors.

From Lucasfilm comes the first of the Star Wars standalone films, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, an all-new epic adventure. In a time of conflict, a group of unlikely heroes band together on a mission to steal the plans to the Death Star, the Empire’s ultimate weapon of destruction. This key event in the Star Wars timeline brings together ordinary people who choose to do extraordinary things, and in doing so, become part of something greater than themselves.
Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is directed by Gareth Edwards and stars Felicity Jones, Diego Luna, Ben Mendelsohn, Donnie Yen, Mads Mikkelsen, Alan Tudyk, Riz Ahmed, with Jiang Wen and Forest Whitaker. Kathleen Kennedy, Allison Shearmur and Simon Emanuel are producing, with John Knoll and Jason McGatlin serving as executive producers.
Disney and Lucasfilm released the second trailer for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story during the Olympics. The trailer featured the first footage of Darth Vader’s return in the film.
