Finn Jones Wraps Marvel’s Iron Fist Season 1

Marvel’s Iron Fist star Finn Jones is having a busy day. Just hours before having to be at New York Comic Con 2016 for the Iron Fist panel, Jones posted a video to Instagram announced he had just finished wrapped filming on Iron Fist.

“Alright, so, we’ve just wrapped on Season of Iron Fist,” Jones says in the video, showing off his Iron Fist production hat. “It’s 9 a.m. I have to be at Comic Con in like three hours…so I’ll see you guys there. I’m really looking forward to it. Just…need…to sleep. Alright, peace.”

Apparently, fans are quite looking forward to the event as well. Reports from New York Comic Con say that the line for Marvel’s Iron Fist panel was capped more than nine hours early. Fans apparently can’t wait to get their first look at Iron Fist.

Earlier this week, Marvel Television and Netflix released an Iron Fist teaser trailer that revealed the series’ March 2017 premiere date.

Marvel’s Iron Fist stars Finn Jones, Jessica Henwick, David Wenham, Jessica Stroup and Tom Pelphrey. Iron Fist is being developed for Netflix by Scott Buck.

Iron Fist is the first Marvel Series to premiere on Netflix, following Marvel’s Daredevil, Marvel’s Jessica Jones, and Marvel’s Luke Cage, which premiered just one week ago. The heroes of these four shows will come together in the fifth Marvel and Netflix co-production, Marvel’s Defenders. A sixth series spinning out of Marvel’s Daredevil Season 2, Marvel’s The Punisher, is also in the works.
